For this project, students designed and screen printed t-shirts to benefit a cause in Detroit. Through the everyday acts of common people tremendous change happens everyday. In this project, the students relied on the commercial appeal and quality of design to increase the resale of a relatively mundane object - a standard cotton t-shirt. Through the proceeds from the sale of the shirts, a person or community is directly affect. Causes included the Detroit Zoo, Klinefelter's Syndrome awareness, Film in Michigan, and literacy and arts education in Detroit Public Schools.
