For his thesis project, Ian Carolan create the film When I Get Old. The film is about him and his fears about graduating and moving on from college into the real world. To cope with the change in the movie, he made a documentary about other people's experiences during college. Through the people he interviews, he tries to learn about getting out into the real world.
